Geranium is a hairy perennial shrub, often used in hedgerows, and will stand up to about one meter (3 feet) high with pointed leaves, serrated at the edges, and flowers that range from red to a pinkish white. Geranium plants originated in South Africa, Madagascar, Egypt, and Morocco and were introduced to European countries in the 17th century. Its petals are used in gourmet jellies and confections. There are over 200 species of geranium that are either scented or unscented.
Herbaceous Hair Conditioner: Get silky smooth locks fresh out the shower with a simple homemade hair conditioner. Mix 1 cup Water, 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, and 10 drops of Egyptian Geranium Essential Oil. Massage into hair, then rinse after a few minutes.
