Generally, Mango Butter is used at concentrations of 2–10%. Always conduct small-scale tests to determine the best concentration for your formulation.

• Lavish Lotions & Creams: Mango Butter can be directly applied as a mild lotion or cream, even on sensitive skin. It can also be blended into creams and lotions at 5-20% for an extra boost of moisture that leaves a healthy, radiant glow. Gently warm the butter, then incorporate it into the final product using a hand blender. Always conduct testing before large-scale production.

• Gentle Acne Products: Mango Butter's natural properties make it a useful ingredient in acne products, offering moisturizing and soothing effects. Note:

Mango Butter is high in unsaponifiables and can develop crystal-like granules of fat due to storage temperature. To smooth out texture:

• In a double boiler, heat Mango Butter to 170-185°F (or about 77-85°C).

• Maintain this temperature for 15-20 minutes to ensure all fat crystals are completely melted.

• After 15-20 minutes allow rapid cooling.

Shelf Life: Store in cool temperatures (below 25°C (77°F) away from light and moisture in an air-tight container. The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36°C (96.8°F)), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality. Stored properly, Mango Butter – Ultra Refined has a shelf-life of one year.
