Cocoa Butter, derived from the beans of the cacao tree fruit, is a luxurious, all-natural ingredient rich in vitamins, antioxidants, polyphenols, and essential fatty acids. Our ultra-refined, deodorized Cocoa Butter shares the same benefits as our unrefined version, but without the chocolatey scent, perfect for gently enhancing cosmetic formulations.
When applied topically, this exotic emollient moisturizes dry and sensitive skin. It also enhances the texture of hair, leaving it softer and easier to manage.
This butter blends beautifully with floral or designer fragrances. Solid at room temperature, it will melt on contact with skin.
DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTED USAGE

Nourishing Lotions & Creams: Incorporate Cocoa Butter - Ultra Refined – Deodorized at 2-20% to enhance lotions with its nourishing properties. Gently warm the Cocoa Butter until the texture is soft enough to be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, swirl your cream or lotion and drizzle in your melted butter.

Beauty Balms: This Ultra Refined Deodorized Cocoa Butter can be directly applied as a lip balm. Alternatively, blend at 5-99% with other ingredients to create your own formulation for specific preferences and needs.

Soothing Bar Soaps: Cocoa Butter is a wonderful addition to high-quality bar soaps. The general guideline is 1 tablespoon per pound or incorporate at 5-20%. As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab-scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.

Premium Hair Care & Conditioners: Use Ultra Refined Deodorized Cocoa Butter at 1-10% in hair care formulations to reduce frizz and enhance manageability. This Cocoa Butter can also be applied directly to the ends of the hair and left in for up to 4 minutes before rinsing. Avoid leaving in longer, as it may harden and become more difficult to wash out.
Shelf Life: Overheating this product will impact its delicate fragrance. Melt slowly at a low heat while stirring gently. Use it as soon as it melts to prevent hardening.
