DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE

• Customize with Carrier Oils: Add up to 2 oz (60 ml) of carrier oils (such as Grape Seed, Evening Primrose, Sweet Almond, Avocado, or Sea Buckthorn if you're looking to create a super exotic product!) per pound of the base for extra benefits and moisturization.

• Fragrance-friendly: Foaming Bath Butter – (Crystal OPC) Cosmetic Base is incredibly robust and will accept a fragrance load of up to 5% essential or fragrant oil. Typically, a load of 2-3% is preferred.

• Butter + Butter: Try adding Shea, Mango, or Cocoa Butter, or some of our exotic Amazonian Butters. This Foaming Bath Butter will also accept small amounts of other creams, lotions, and moisturizers.

• Whip Up Soaps: Unlike conventional soaps, whipped soap has a light, airy, mousse-like consistency reminiscent of whipped cream. Simply whip the Foaming Bath Butter until light and fluffy, then customize with your preferred fragrance, color, and additives for a decadent bathing experience. For optimal texture and performance, incorporate fragrance and additives at around 2-3% of the total weight.

• Almost Good Enough to Eat Exfoliators: Incorporate exfoliants like sugar or salt into whipped Foaming Bath Butter for a luxurious scrub that leaves skin smooth and polished. If using sugar or salts, it is recommended to use a 1:1 ratio for the exfoliant and butter base. Remember that sugars and salts can dissolve in the base; the key is to add enough to achieve a saturated solution that does not allow the solute to dissolve further, at which point the exfoliating qualities will emerge.

• Body Conditioners: Blend Foaming Bath Butter with nourishing oils and butters to create a rich and hydrating body conditioner, perfect for softening and moisturizing skin after bathing. For best results, include oils and butters at around 5-10% of the total weight.

Please Note:

• To achieve smooth consistency without any gritty or grainy texture, melt the base above 194°F (90°C.). Foaming Bath Butter can exhibit batch-to-batch variations due to several factors, including variances in the quality and composition of raw materials, manufacturing conditions such as temperature and humidity, and environmental factors like climate changes during transportation and storage. These fluctuations can impact the texture and consistency of the product, leading to differences in the final outcome. This texture variation does not affect the quality of the Foaming Bath Butter in any way.

• Whenever you purchase anything in block size, particulate matter will gravitate to the bottom during the pour, just as long-chain fatty acids will gravitate to the bottom of a barrel, making the oil less viscous at the top, and even tar-like at the bottom. For this reason, we recommend cutting or scooping down to the bottom of the product, and not just skimming the material from across the top. In this way, the end product should have the consistency you expect throughout the use of the whole block.

• New packaging for this product has instructions to melt the product, which may then be poured into molds or blended into other melt-and-pour bases to increase lather. However, the product may continue to be used as is or whipped while cold for creamy formulations – heating it is not necessary.

Cautions: Foaming Bath Butter will double in volume when whipped using a blender or cake mixer. However, it can collapse if whipped to more than double its original volume. Under no circumstances should this product be discharged at temperatures higher than 122°F (50°C); 118°F is the preferred temperature. At temperatures below 113°F (45°C), the product hardens.
