Citronella Organic Essential Oil is steam distilled from the Cymbopogon winterianus, a fragrant gem native to Sri Lanka and Java. Standing at an approximate height of 1 meter (3 feet), the Citronella plant has been a symbol of resilience and natural abundance. Citronella Oil holds a significant place in history, valued for its distinct scent and diverse applications. In ancient times, Citronella was employed in various spiritual and religious ceremonies for its cleansing and purifying attributes. Its crisp, citrusy fragrance also played a role in rituals, creating a sensory experience. During the 19th century, it gained recognition as an effective insect repellent, especially against mosquitoes.
