With its roots extending up to 2 feet beneath the earth, the Turmeric root is known for its deep orange hue and its warm, earthy, and woody aroma. The Curcuma longa plant is believed to have been used as early as 4000 years ago in traditional medicine, as well as in spiritual and ceremonial practices. Often used in a finely ground powder, Turmeric has been a staple in culinary and cosmetic applications in India.  

For generations, women have embraced the holistic properties of Turmeric for skincare, recognizing its ability to enhance and rejuvenate the skin naturally. It has also long been employed as a mild coloring agent in cold-processed soaps, adding a touch of natural vibrancy to the cleansing ritual. Our Turmeric Essential Oil encapsulates this age-old tradition, offering you the timeless wisdom of botanical care. 

DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTED USAGE

• Facial Serum: Add 2-3 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil to your favorite carrier oil, such as rosehip or jojoba oil. Apply a small amount to your face and neck, and gently massage it in.

• Face Mask: Mix 1-2 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil with a tablespoon of honey or yogurt. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off.

• Scalp Massage: Dilute 2-3 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil with a tablespoon of your favorite carrier oil. Massage the mixture into your scalp for a few minutes and leave it on for 30 minutes before shampooing.

• For Aromatherapy: Add a few drops of turmeric essential oil to a diffuser to enjoy its warm and woody aroma.

• Rejuvenating Massage: Dilute turmeric essential oil with a carrier oil at a ratio of 1-2% before applying to the skin. Gently massage the diluted oil onto the affected area to help alleviate muscle discomfort and promote relaxation.

Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.

Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.
