DESCRIPTION
Derived from organic vegetable oils such as Palm, Soy, Sunflower, and Flax Seed, our Glycerine Organic Raw Material is naturally pure. It’s colorless and odorless, having a slight viscosity and a sweet taste when used in lip balms. A viscous humectant liquid, it is used as an agent in cosmetics, shampoos, soaps, and other household items, and is invaluable as a natural-source ingredient with emollient properties that can soften and soothe the skin. As a humectant, it attracts moisture in the air to the skin. It is soluble in both water and alcohol; this versatility is a major factor in its popularity in manufacturing. Glycerine Organic Raw Material is pure USP Grade, Kosher, GMO- and allergen-free.
Important Note: Vegetable Glycerine is the result of a sophisticated extraction method called hydrolysis, with the final product being referred to as Vegetable Glycerine. This system is based on the fats and oils of a raw product that are then split into crude glycerol fats, under the combined action of water, temperature, and pressure. These temperatures can exceed 400°F (204°C) the material is usually kept under pressure for 20-30 minutes. What is actually occurring is a sort of counter-flow where the water absorbs Glycerol from the fatty-acid phase of the oil production. After this phase this Glycerol is isolated and further distilled to result in a standard 99%-pure Glycerin product.
Prior to commercial manufacturing, conduct testing to ensure the product has the desired consistency and effects.
Please note that the drum tap will not work for Glycerine Organic Raw Materials as its consistency is too viscous.
DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE
- Alluring Massage Mix: Combine 60 ml (2 oz) each of Glycerine Organic Raw Material and Almond Carrier Oil in a 120 ml (4 oz) amber glass bottle. Add 30 drops German Chamomile Essential Oil, 2 drops Cinnamon Essential Oil, and 2 drops Peppermint Essential Oil, then shake well. Use this blend for massage to stir the senses.
- Simple Bedtime Blend: Combine 1 tbsp Glycerine Organic with 10 tbsp water. Massage this serum into your face nightly before bed and leave it on overnight. Rinse off with cold water in the morning.
