The new Melt & Pour Syndet Base is 100% soap-free, allowing you to expand your range of body, hair, and facial products. Suitable for sensitive skin types, the Syndet Base is pH balanced, SLS free, SLES free, and provides adequate lather for a mild yet effective clean.

The innovative Melt & Pour Syndet Base was created with the eco-conscious consumer in mind. Products made with the Syndet Base can be packaged in card cartons or wrapped in recyclable paper. The ingredients used in the Syndet Base produce adequate lather with small bubbles, resulting in a concentrated formula that can help consumers conserve water, reduce their use of plastics, and reduce their carbon footprint. The Melt & Pour Syndet Base is highly customizable and is recommended for manufacturers, personal care brands, and artisans. Simply add your favorite additives, botanicals, and fragrances to create luxurious cleansing bars!

Usage: A 1 kg tray can make up to 10 x100g bars, depending on the size of the soap you're trying to make.

Key Ingredients:
• Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate
• Propylene Glycol
• Glyceryl Stearate
• Aqua
• Glycerin

Important Note: It is recommended that the amount of additives used in the formula must not exceed 3 %. This level would include up to 2 % fragrance. Stability testing may be required to ensure compatibility. Due to the glycerin present in the base, this base can be prone to sweating.

Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage.
