This country consists of three different vegetation zones, which are the Tundra, the Taiga, and the Prairies. The harsh, cold environment of the Tundra grows approximately 1,700 species of plants including Arctic Willow, Pasque flower, Bearberry, Purple Saxifrage, Arctic Poppy, Cotton Grass, herbs, flowering lupine, buttercups, mosses, and lichens. The Taiga consists of species of heathers, such as Leatherleaf and Labrador Tea, as well as a range of berry species, including Cranberries, Currants, and Blueberries. The natural vegetation of the Prairies includes grasses such as Spear Grass, Wheat Grass, and Blue Grama Grass. Areas in which the soil has salinity contain botanicals such as Wild Barley, Alkali Grass, Greasewood, Sea Blite, and Red Samphire. Drier areas grow plants such as yellow Prickly Pear Cactus. Canada provides prominent oils such as Arnica Herbal Oil, Aloe Vera Oil, Cedar Leaf Essential Oil, and Flaxseed Carrier Oil to name a few.
