The archipelago is known as the 'Spice Islands' due to their source of spices including Clove, Nutmeg, and Pepper. The major essential oil exports of Indonesia include Patchouli, Cassia, Clove, Cinnamon, Ginger, Sandalwood, Lemongrass, Nutmeg, Agarwood, and Cananga to name a few.
