Myrcene

(Showing 5 of 5)
This constituent gets its name from Myrcia sphaerocarpa, a genus of the Myrtaceae plant family that contains high levels of Myrcene. This constituent can be found in the essential oils of plants such as Bay, Ylang-ylang, and Parsley but also occurs in other fragrant herbs such as Thyme, Lemongrass, and Basil. Despite being the smallest of the Terpenes, Myrcene is vital in the development of other Terpenes.
