This country is known to have the third most extensively forest-covered territory, with more than 50% of the land being forests. They have come to be recognized as a crucial symbol of Slovenia. Its Alpine Dry Meadows consist of wildflowers that can also be found along the side of the road or on the mountains. The wildflowers include Dusky Cranesbill Geranium, the Carnic Lily, Great Masterwort, Yellow Bellflower, Wild Sweet William, three varying colours of Meadow Clary, and Field Gentian. Orchids can also be discovered near this environment – two in particular are the Chalk Fragrant Orchid and the Burnt Orchid. Helichrysum, Hyssop, Juniper Berry, Laurel Leaf, and Melissa Leaf Essential Oils are exported from Slovenia.
